Actually she's wanted to spend quite a lot of time on her own recently, as animals generally do when they don't feel well. She's been suffering a rather painful bladder infection, and there's still a little blood in her urine. Fortunately X-rays showed no sign of cancer or any other major problem, but of course with a 16 year old it's still a bit of a worry.
At least her appetite has returned, and now she just has to continue oral medicine for a while, which means more bitten fingers for me, but still!
