| A few days ago Peter came out of hiding for long enough to have his photo taken. He is sitting on a nice warm bed that originally belonged to Roo.
It should help any cat to get through the cold winter nights, but for some reason Peter still prefers to be behind the dishwasher, where it must be pretty
cold. Maybe it's the kind of place he got used to sheltering in during his days as a stray? He's gradually getting more at home though. The other day he allowed me to stroke his head, though he shivered violently the whole time I was doing it. And gradually the shivers have been getting less - for the past couple of days he has even purred while I tickled his chin! So every sign he'll become a thoroughly domestic cat pretty soon. |
